Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein Marries Rajwa Al-Saif in Lavish Wedding Ceremony

Crown Prince Hussein, the future King of Jordan, recently tied the knot with Rajwa Khaled bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Al Saif in a lavish wedding ceremony on June 1. This royal event marked a significant milestone for the Hashemite family, who have ruled Jordan since 1921. Crown Prince Hussein, at the age of 28, is the eldest son of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania.

With an impressive background as a captain in the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and a graduate of prestigious institutions like the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and Georgetown University, Crown Prince Hussein has actively engaged in diplomatic affairs. He has addressed the U.N. Security Council and General Assembly, demonstrating his commitment to serving his country and representing Jordan alongside his father.

The bride, Rajwa Al-Saif, is a talented Saudi Arabian architect and the youngest daughter of prominent businessman Khalid bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz al-Saif. Their engagement, announced in August, was followed by Rajwa’s active participation in other royal engagements, including Princess Iman’s wedding.

The wedding celebrations were nothing short of grandeur. Queen Rania hosted a delightful henna party, while a tribute concert titled “We Rejoice in Hussein” added to the festivities. The wedding ceremony took place at Zahran Palace in Amman, where Crown Prince Hussein donned military regalia and Rajwa stunned in a magnificent wedding gown designed by renowned fashion designer Elie Saab.

The guest list for this prestigious occasion included esteemed global royals such as King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofía of Spain, the King and Queen of the Netherlands, and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden. Prominent figures like U.S. First Lady Jill Biden and Prince William and Kate Middleton were also in attendance.
